1980’s Louvres were glued, turned yellow in the sun and could come apart too easily.
1990’s Louvres were stitched, a lot better than being glued but still not perfect with flying threads, back tacking, pin holes to let the light through and crevices to collect dust.
21st Century and a weld tape supplies superior bond-strength designed to outlast the life of the blind with none of the faults of the last century.
